New Client Appointments
New clients undergo an extensive 1-hour initial evaluation and consultation during their first appointment. This provides information to develop a thorough understanding of your health history and your health concerns, and to develop an initial health plan.
At the end of your appointment, we will produce a personal health plan for you to follow for a specified period of time.
First appointments typically include:
- An extensive review of your personal health history and diagnostic tests that you have taken previously
- A consultation on specific health concerns, a physical exam, and other assessments
- A review of the client's diet, lifestyle factors, medications, and supplements
- A discussion of options and an initial wellness plan
At the end of your appointment, we will schedule you for a follow up visit. Follow-up visits are a very intricate part of the process. This helps us to know how fast or how slow the body is receiving what you are doing. Follow-up appointments are typically 30-60 minutes, depending on the reason for the appointment and the complexity of your case.

- Relevant bloodwork or diagnostic tests (in the last 6 months)
- A list of prescription drugs or nutritional supplements you are currently taking
- A completed copy of our New Client Assessment Forms
If you don't have recent bloodwork, we can discuss this at your initial appointment. Lab tests can be ordered by your provider, or we can tell you which ones we could recommend to your Primary Care Provider. Lab work ordered from our office is not covered by insurance. We do offer them at COST at this time, and you can have them drawn at LabCorp. Patients who have Medicare or Medicaid do not qualify to pay for out-of-pocket lab work.
